We believe confidence isn’t something you’re born with—it’s something you build. When people build confidence, they begin to see themselves differently. They make different decisions, pursue greater opportunities, and create stronger futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Founded by Executive Leadership Coach, educator, keynote speaker, and four-time published author Shakila Stewart, Chin Up! You Got This!™ was born from both lived experience and professional expertise. After experiencing the foster care system and later being adopted by her great-aunt, Shakila witnessed firsthand the life-changing power of belonging, encouragement, and someone believing in your potential. That experience inspired a mission that has grown far beyond one person’s story.

Today, Chin Up! You Got This!™ is a national confidence and leadership organization that has empowered more than 8,000 women, girls, and families through mentoring, leadership development, workshops, coaching, and digital learning. We partner with schools, nonprofit organizations, corporations, and correctional education programs to equip participants with practical tools that strengthen identity, build confidence, develop leadership, and create lasting change. Through our Pathway to Empowerment™ digital curriculum, our mission reaches learners through correctional education programs across all 50 states.
